When you upload videos for analysis:
- Video files are uploaded directly to Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3, a third-party cloud storage provider
- We do not store video files on our own servers
- During analysis, temporary processing files (frames, audio) are created and deleted immediately after analysis completes
- The original video file remains in AWS S3 storage until you request deletion
- Analysis reports (PDF) are retained for your access
2.3 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store your credit card information on our servers. We receive only:
- Payment confirmation status
- Transaction ID
- Billing email (if different from account email)
2.4 Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information about your use of our services:
- Analysis history (timestamps, vertical selection, video duration)
- Device information (browser type, operating system)
- IP address and general location data
- Log data (access times, pages viewed, errors encountered)

- Audio tracks are sent to transcription services

- We do not control how third-party AI services use data during processing
- Processed data is used solely to generate your compliance report
Data retention by AI providers: Third-party AI services may retain data for a limited time to improve their models. We select providers with strong privacy commitments, but cannot guarantee their data handling practices.

- Cloud storage: Video files and reports are stored using Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3, a third-party cloud storage provider with data centers located in the United States. - Payment processing: Stripe processes all payment transactions

- Hosting: Our platform is hosted on Railway (backend) and Netlify (frontend)

5.3 Business Transfers
If LabelEngine AI is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owner.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as you maintain an active account. Specifically:
- Video files: Stored in AWS S3 until you request deletion through your account settings or by contacting us. Temporary processing files (frames, audio) are deleted immediately after analysis completes.
- Analysis reports: Retained as part of your account data for as long as you maintain an active account
- Account data: Retained until you delete your account. When you close your account, we will delete your data.
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years for tax, accounting, and legal compliance purposes
- Logs and transactional information: We may retain logs of automatically collected information for internal analytics, security, and legal compliance purposes
Requesting Deletion: You can delete individual videos through your account dashboard or request account deletion by contacting us at moe@labelengine.ai. When you delete a video, it is permanently removed from AWS S3 storage.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
7.1 Access and Portability
You can access your account data and download your analysis reports at any time through your account dashboard.
7.2 Correction
You can update your account information (email, username) through your account settings.
7.3 Deletion

7.4 Opt-Out (California Residents - CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
